Born and raised in Kyoto, Hiroshi’s journey into the world of coffee began at an early age, inspired by Japan’s deep-rooted respect for precision and ritual. After years of training with some of Japan’s most respected roasters, he honed his craft in sensory evaluation, origin selection, and flavor profiling. His meticulous approach ensures that every batch of coffee sourced by Takumi Collective meets the highest standards of balance, complexity, and authenticity.

Hiroshi’s role at Takumi Collective extends beyond sourcing. His expertise in flavor profiling allows him to bring out the unique characteristics of each origin, creating blends that are both sophisticated and unforgettable.
